I received word this morning that El Paso County has started installation of the dog park at Falcon Regional Park on Eastonville Rd.
This is fantastic news! Some of you may remember when the Chamber helped raise funds to do the park.
Thank you from
The Eastern Plains Chamber of Commerce Board.
Below is a letter and an attachment from Tim Kealy one of our Eastern Plains Chamber members.
This is a great opportunity for our membership to be educated and involved.
Falcon High School, along with Eastern Plains Chamber of Commerce, is sponsoring a parents night with Value Up. The event is Monday, November 5, at 6 p.m., at Falcon High School. The cost for this event is $500, and many of you have expressed interest in helping pay for this event. I, Tim Kealy, have told the school that the local community will raise the funds to provide this information to the community. There is also another all-day event scheduled for the students in January, and that will cost $3,000.
If you want to help donate to help our students, please drop off a check at Falcon High School, made out to Falcon High School, and put Value Up in the memo so it is designated to the correct account.
Reminder Business after Hours sponsored by The New Falcon Herald tomorrow September 19, 5:30-7:30 at Guadalajara Family Mexican Restaurant, 7336 McLaughlin Rd, Falcon.
We will be in the Winter Garden. Appetizers will be provided.
Please feel free to bring a guest!
See you there!!
